Sono state individuate le prove che si svolgeranno dal 6 al 14 giugno presso l'Air Village sede degli eventi collaterali nell'ambito dei World Air Game.

Si tratta di un programma in grado di venire incontro alle esigenze ed ai gusti di tutti i piloti virtuali che, ci auguriamo, accoglieranno in modo massiccio l'invito a partecipare all'evento, che vedrà in palio anche le medaglie offerte dal Comitato WAG 2009.

L'appuntamento per gli appassionati della simulazione "Combat" è previsto nel primo fine settimana del 6 e 7 giugno 2009.

Il programma di massima dell'evento, organizzato dalla sezione Combat di PVI in collaborazione col 22GCT, é il seguente:

• Gara di velocità (IL2);
• Gara acrobatica (FSX);
• Gara di appontaggio (FSX);
• Dogfight con IL2.

Sono previste anche esibizioni con l'esecuzione di "missioni coop" con IL2 e con Falcon4 e verrà mostrato anche il nuovissimo simulatore del Ka50 "Black Shark".

E' prevista, infine, l'esibizione di pattuglie acrobatiche virtuali.

Si svolgeranno nei giorni di sabato e domenica, 13 e 14 giugno, le quattro gare di volo civile.

Grazie al supporto di Microsoft, che ha messo a disposizione il suo ultimo simulatore di volo Microsoft FSX, di Aerosoft e di Flight One coi loro aerei e scenari di alta qualità, e dello sponsor tecnico di PVI, TechnologyShop, verranno allestite diverse postazioni, su pc di adeguate prestazioni,  per i concorrenti impegnati nelle gare.

La prova più impegnativa sarà un Rally aereo che si svolgerà in 5 tappe, 3 volate in VFR e 2 in IFR. Sarà riservato ad equipaggi composti da un minimo di 2 ad un massimo di 5 componenti. Le prove si svolgeranno anche in scenari del nord e del centro Europa. Saranno impiegati, a scelta di ciascun team, il King Air di default o il Piper PA-31 Cheyenne per le tratte IFR mentre, per quelle VFR potranno essere utilizzati il DHC-2 Beaver o il Cessna CU206G Stationair.

La seconda gara è riservata ai piloti di elicotteri, che saranno impegnati in un percorso che dovrà essere coperto nel minor tempo possibile. Si
tratta, in questo caso, di una gara individuale e saranno utilizzati il Bell 206 e il Robinson 22 di default.

La terza gara, sempre individuale, vedrà all'opera gli amanti del volo a vela. Utilizzando l'aliante di default, i piloti dovranno dimostrare la loro
abilità nel coprire la distanza più lunga, calcolata dal punto di sgancio dall'aereo traino in direzione di un punto di arrivo determinato.

L'ultima prova, anche questa individuale, sarà una gara di velocità, ad eliminazione diretta,  tra più aerei che formeranno le diverse batterie di qualificazione.

A breve verranno pubblicati, sul sito di P.V.I., i regolamenti che disciplinano lo svolgimento delle singole gare.

Ricordiamo che le iscrizioni,  alle singole gare, sono gratuite e che, per i piloti che si iscriveranno, sono previste convezioni relativamente al vitto ed all’alloggio. Esse potranno essere attivate scrivendo una mail a wag2009@pvi.it.

We have just set up the challenges for the WAG 2009, held from 6th to 14th June at the Air Village, where all the events are hosted.
The program has been thought to be funny but also challenging for all kinds of virtual pilots that we hope will join us in a great number for this event.
For the occasion, there will be also medals as prizes, offered by the WAG 2009 comity.

The first appointment will be for the enthusiast of combat simulation in the first of two weekend, on 6th and 7th June 2009.
The non-definitive program, organized by the combat section of PVI and with the effort of 22GCT, will be the following:

• Speed contests(IL2)
• Acrobatic competitions(FSX)
• Carrier Landing competitions(FSX)
• Dogfights with IL2

There will be also exhibitions of “cooperative mission” using IL2 and Falcon4 and even the new KA 50 Black Shark simulator.
And more again, also exhibitions of virtual acrobatic teams.

The second and final weekend, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, the four civil contest will be on the stage.
Thanks to the support of Microsoft, who provided the operating system Vista and its latest Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Aerosoft and Flight One with their great quality aircrafts and sceneries, and with the technical sponsor Technologyshop, 13 PC of great performances will be set up for the crews who participate to the contests.

The more involving contest will be an flight rally in five legs, three of which are to be flown in VFR, and two in IFR. Crews will be formed from 2 to 5 persons.
The flights will take place in the northern and centre Europe and the aircrafts will be chosen by the crews between the FSX default King Air or the Piper Cheyenne PA-31 for the IFR flights, while for the VFR ones DHC-2 Beaver or the Cessna CU206G Stationair could be selected.
The rally will be flown under full air traffic control held by IVAO radar men, for all the five legs.

The second competition is reserved for helicopter pilots that will fly in a circuit that had to be completed in the less time possible.
It’s an individual competition and will be flown with the FSX default Bell 206 or Robinson 22.

Third competition, also individual, will be for the air sail lovers.
Using the FSX default sail plane, the pilots have to demonstrate their competencies in covering the longest distances, calculated from the uncouple with the tow plane to a fixed arrival point.

The last competition, individual too, will be a racing with direct elimination in a group of airplanes.

As soon as possible, regulations for all the contests will be published on the PVI website.
